Part II. How Globalization and Influx of Foreign Workers Drive Inequality in SG
After the turn of the century, the plights of SG workers displaced by globalization were exacerbated by the influx of foreign workers.
Part III. Inequality in SG is Grossly Understated. Gini Coefficient understates relative inequality because of how it is calculated. The extent of absolute inequality which is unreported is even more alarming.
Part IV. SG Needs a Minimum Wage. Why?
Even though the government has implemented the Progressive Wage Model and the Workfare Income Supplement, households at the bottom are caught in a low-wage trap.
